摘　　要：通过往返双向聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(Return-PAGE)和垂直双向聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(2D-PAGE)检测,发现从桑花叶型萎缩病的病叶组织中提取的总核酸中存在环状小分子RNA,即类病毒RNA。根据桑花叶型萎缩病的症状和发生规律以及植物类病毒病的定义,认为这种环状小分子RNA可能是引起桑花叶型萎缩病的病原。It was found that there was the infective low molecular weight （LMW） RNA, viz. Viroid RNA, in the leaves tissues by return-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis （Return-PAGE） of total nucleic acid extracted from the mulberry leaves with symptoms of the mulberry mosaic dwarf disease. This result illuminated that the LMWRNA may be the pathogen of this disease according to the occurring laws, symptoms of the mulberry mosaic dwarf disease, along with the defination of the viroid.
