尴尬的选择——图书馆文献资源建设问题探讨

摘　　要：目前各图书馆都面临着文献资源购买价格不断上涨,而图书馆经费不变甚至下降的现状,这给图书馆文献资源建设提出了一个难题。印刷型文献与电子文献二者有着明显的差异且各有优缺点。虽然一些传统的选择标准在评价电子文献时仍然有效,但其它问题如技术、获取方式等也都必须予以考虑。本文通过对图书馆实践经验的介绍,阐明这种选择的复杂性及若干建设性意见。The availability of resources in both print and electronic formats posed a selection dilemma for librarians dealing with rising costs of materials and stagnating or declining budgets. There are readily identifiable differences between print and electronic resources and each has strengths and weaknesses. Traditional selection criteria are still valid for evaluating electronic resources but additional issues such as technology, access method ete. must be considered. Experiences shared by today＇s librarians illustrate the complexity of this selection dilemma, and finally author of this paper proposes some viewpoint.
