摘　　要：分布式工作流管理系统是相对于早期的集中式工作流管理系统而言的。在讨论了工作流的基础上引入工作流基于XML的过程定义语言XPDL,提出了一种基于XPDL的分布式工作流管理系统的设计方法。Distributed workflow management system is a concept by contrast with the earlier centralized workflow management system. In this article,we briefly introduce the basic concepts of workflow, then, involve XPDL based on XML, at the same time we provide a method for the design of the distributed workflow management system based on XPDL files.
