摘　　要：顶头是无缝钢管生产的关键工具。文章介绍了几种顶头表面强化方法及应用情况，并指出正确运用表面强化技术是提高顶头寿命的重要途径之一。Plug is a critical tool for manufacturing seamless steel tube. This paper introduces several technologies of plug surface reinforcement and their opplications, and indicates using surface reinforcemont technology propery is one of the inportent way to prolong plug service life.
