摘　　要：新加坡是东亚新兴工业化国家的杰出代表之一,在经济发展与政治变迁的同时,他们开展了以儒家文化价值为核心、面向世界、适应市场经济需要的新文化建设工作,并在文化建设的目标、内容和方法上做出了富有成效的探索。这对亚洲国家的社会现代化具有重要的借鉴作用。Singapore is an outstanding representative of new East Asian industrialized countries. The country has launched the new-culture project centering on Confucianism in conformity to the need of market economy, and explore effectively the objective, structure, content and strategy of this new-culture reconstruction drive. Singapore serves well as a role model of social modernization for other Asian nations.
