摘　　要：首先简单介绍了GIS互操作技术及其必要性,然后阐述了Feature Manipulation Engine (要素操作引擎简称FME)的主要功能、核心模块及其在进行互操作时的优越性,最后以CAD的 DGN格式转换Mapinfo的Tab格式为例引出了涉及到FME的相关互操作技术．Firstly, this paper introduces the necessity and technology of GIS interoperability generally, then gives a detailed description of the main function, core module and the advantage of the GIS interoperability in Feature Manipulation Engine （FME）, then, extends the interrelated interoperability technology of FME taking the example of the transformation between DGN of CAD and Tab of Mapinfo.
