摘　　要：介绍北京西站主站房为体现古都风貌和民族风格的装饰作法，着重叙述磨光花岗石饰面、仿石圆柱饰面板、仿石面砖、玻璃透光顶、玻璃幕墙等量大面广的新材料、新工艺。in order to carry our capital's elegance and China'S national style, the BeijingRailway Western Station's main building decoration project has adopted a great amount of newbuilding materials and a choice variaty of new construction technologies. Specieal attention hasbeen paid to following items, namely (1 ) the polished surfase granite, (2) the imitation ofstone round solumn decorative surface, (3) the imitation of stone facing brick,(4) thetransparent glass ceiling, and (5) the glass curtain wall etc.
