Mystery of Oldest Objects in Solar System Unveiled

摘　　要：opaque assemblages （OAs） vere once thought to be ＂the oldest objects in the solar system.＂ After careful studies of OAs in primitive meteorites, a group of Chinese and US scientists have recently found that this is not the case. The scientists speculate that they were the products of aqueous alteration of pre-existing metallic particles during asteroid＇s evolution. One peer reviewer appraised this work to be ＂the first to give a clear answer to the formation of OAs＂ and strongly recommended that the journal Earth ＆ Planetary Science Letters publish the research results.
