摘 要:超宽带(Ultra Wideband,UWB)系统具有高传输速率、低功耗、低成本等独特优点,是下一代短距离无线通信系统的有力竞争者。低密度奇偶校验码(Low Density Parity Check Codes,LDPC码)性能优越,允许全并行高速译码,并且在长码长时性能优于Turbo码。研究了一种LDPC码在AWGN信道和基于OFDM调制的超宽带系统中理想信道估计下的性能,并与卷积码进行了性能比较。研究表明,LDPC码相对于卷积码编码方式有较大的编码增益。Ultra Wideband(UWB) technology has the virtue of very high data rate,low power consumption and low cost, which makes it a promising technology for next generation short range wireless communication. Low Density Parity - Check Codes(LDPC) achieve excellent error performance and permit fully parallelizable high speed decoding. They can even outperform famous Turbo codes when they are long enough. In this paper we investigate the performance of a LDPC code under AWGN channel and Ultra Wideband channels with ideal channel information and compare the results with those of convolution - coded system. The study shows that the LDPC - coded system has a better performance than the convolution - coded system.
