摘 要:光纤喇曼放大器以其灵活的增益谱、较高的光信噪比和较低的非线性特性,在近年来大容量、长距离光纤通信系统中获得广泛应用。文章在简述喇曼放大基本原理的基础上,针对其结构上的新特点,分析比较了3种典型喇曼放大系统的传输特性;指出通过在FRA中引入前向泵浦和色散管理技术,可以进一步提升喇曼放大系统的传输性能;并通过自行搭建的实验系统进一步验证了双向泵浦对FRA性能的改善。With its flexible gain spectrum, high OSNR and low nonlinear characteristics, Fiber Raman Amplifier (FRA) has acquired widespread application in high-capacity and long-distance optical fiber communication systems in the recent years. After concisely introducing the basic operational principle, the transmission characteristics of three typical Raman-amplifier transmission systems are compared and analyzed with the main trait on the new structure. It shows that the transmission performance can be improved by introducing forward pumping and the dispersion-managed technologies into FRA and the improvement is further confirmed by the bi-direction pumped FRA experimental system.
