Objective To investigate the changes of material consumption and enzyme activity in the muscular tissues of the wound track after gunshot wound in pig at high altitude. Methods Twenty-four pigs, divided into normal environment group ( PP, n = 8 ), high altitude group ( GP, n = 8 ), and high altitude with war environment group ( GZ,n = 8 ). Gunshot wound in the posterior limbs were induced in different environments. The content of Na^+- K^+ -ATPase,LDH,CK,MG,LA,Pi^3+ in the muscular tissues of the wound track was measured at different time after injury. Results The changes of the consumption of MG, LA, Pi^3+ and enzyme activity in the muscular tissues of the wound track of PP group was morderate as compared with that of GP and GZ group, and that of GZ group was severer than that of GP group. Conclusion The changes of enzyme activity and MG, LA, Pi^3+ in the muscular tissues of the wound track is GZ group 〉 GP group 〉 PP group. Much attention should be paid to the nourishment of organism and protection of enzyme activity after gunshot injury at altitude.
