摘　　要：宽带网络的建设已走过辉煌,当前的重点是解决宽带网络的应用问题。流媒体技术的成熟为宽带网络的应用开辟了一条崭新的途径。简介流媒体技术的原理、特点,重点论述流媒体技术是如何为宽带网络的应用创造条件,并对流媒体应用于宽带网络的前景及市场进行展望。Wideband network has passed its splendid construction course. The emphasis at present is to solve the application of wideband network. With mature of stream media technology, it breaks a new path for the application of wideband network. It gives a brief introduction of the theory and characteristics of stream media technology in this article at first, makes emphasis on discussion of how stream media technology create conditions for the application of wideband network in succession, prospects the foreground and market of stream media applied in wideband network at last.
