摘　　要：复合绝缘子以优良的防污闪性能在电力系统得到了普遍认可和大量使用,总体来讲复合绝缘子运行情况良好,但也存在一定问题和潜在的危险。一些事故和异常不仅与产品设计、产品质量有关,也与运行经验不足有关。作者根据河南省不同时期挂网运行的复合绝缘子的全面抽检试验结果对其运行状况和性能进行了总体评价,并提出了较为实用的现场测试“四步法”。Due to their remarkable performance of pollution flashover prevention, composite insulators are widely approved by power systems in China and applied in large amounts. As a whole, the operation condition of composite insulators is favorable, however, there are still some failures and anomalies of composite insulators, which reflect lurk dangers, These failures and anomalies not only relate to the design and quality of products, but also to insufficient operation experience, therefore, in order to master the key factors impacting secure operation of composite insulators and utilize effective preventive measures to ensure secure operation of power system, it is necessary to analyze composite insulator technology and its operation characteristics earnestly and assess its reliability. The authors present overall assessment on performance and operation condition of composite insulators after random inspection and testing with regard to composite insulators put into operation in different periods, and propose a practicable ＂four step method＂ for on-site testing of composite insulators.
