摘　　要：提高期刊利用率和期刊信息服务质量,改革传统的期刊服务模式和加大期刊信息资源的开发深度,是目前高校图书馆亟待解决的重点问题。以理论联系实际的学风和实事求是、严肃认真的科学态度,阐述开发和利用期刊文献信息的措施,对提高高校图书馆管理质量和服务功能具有重要的实践指导意义。Nowadays. there are several main problems for the libraries in colleges to solve, such as, the improvement of the eomorehensive utilization and service of different kinds of periodicals, the reform of the service, the increase of exploring the sources of different kinds of periodicals and so on. In the text, the v author, integrating theory with practice ,seeking truth from facts and showing her scientific attitude,states how to explore and utilize different kinds of periodicals, which will be instructive to the improvement of the administration and service of libraries in colleges.
