摘　　要：XML作为异构数据交换的标准格式在数据交换平台中得到了广泛的应用,多媒体数据由于其容量巨大在数据库中往往作为大对象数据来保存,因此在异构数据交换中必然涉及到大对象数据交换的问题。文章讨论了Huffman编码的原理并提出了基于XML使用Huffman编码方式实现大对象数据交换的方法,设计了相应的实现模型,对异构数据库大对象数据交换的实现具有一定的借鉴意义。As a standard format of heterogeneous data exchange,XML obtains the widespread application in the data exchange platform.The multimedia data often is stored in the database as the LOB data,because its capacity great. Therefore LOB data exchange is involved inevitably in heterogeneous data exchange.This article discusses the principle of Huffman coding and suggests the method of LOB data exchange based on XML by means of Huffman coding,and designs the corresponding realization model.It has the certain model significance to the realization of LOB data exchange between heterogeneous databases.
