摘　　要：认为孙中山是中国近百年来自觉思考中西文化关系并付诸实践的重要人物,孙中山所处的环境、接受的教育和长期的革命生涯使他对中西文化的优劣有着深刻的理解;指出孙中山从社会革命的需要出发,从物质、制度、价值观念三个层面全方位对中西文化进行了比较、筛选,并在其革命主张和建国纲领中融贯了中西文化精华;孙中山的中西文化观具有鲜明的革命性、实践性和开放性,对于我们今天在全球化背景下建构社会主义新文化具有借鉴意义。The paper holds that Sun Yatsen was an important person in the past one hundred years who had thought consciously of the relation between Chinese and Western Cultures and put their essence into practice. The environment in which Sun Yatsen lived, the education he received and the long revolutionary career he experienced enabled him to get a profound comprehension of the strengths and weaknesses of Chinese and Western Cultures. The paper points out that from the requirements of social revolution Sun Yatsen had made comparison and selection between Chinese and Western Cultures in an all-directional way on three layers of material, system and value concept and achieved mastery through the study of the essence of Chinese and Western Cultures in his revolutionary career and state construction program. The outlook of Sun Yatsen on Chinese and Western Cultures possesses distinct revolutionary, practical and open character, which presents a reference significance to us when we are forming new socialist culture on the background of globalization today.
