摘  要:目的探讨血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)及其抑制剂TIMP-1与脑膜瘤的生物学特性和侵袭性的关系。方法采用免疫组化S-P法测定手术切除的45例不同组织学类型脑膜瘤标本中VEGF、MMP-9及TIMP-1的蛋白表达。结果VEGF、MMP-9和TIMP-1在良性脑膜瘤中的阳性表达率分别为40%、36%、52%;在恶性脑膜瘤中的阳性表达率分别为70%、75%、55%。VEGF和MMP-9在恶性和良性脑膜瘤中的表达存在显著性差异(P<0.01),且二者在脑膜瘤中的表达呈正相关。结论VEGF、MMP-9与脑膜瘤的生物学特性相关,二者可能相互协同促进脑膜瘤的侵袭;MMP-9/TIMP-1的失衡与脑膜瘤的恶性程度和侵袭能力相关。Objective To explore the relationship of meningioma invasiveness with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and tissues inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) expressions. Methods The expressions of VEGF, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were determine by the S-P immunhistochemical staining method in 45 cases of different pathological types of meningiomas. Results The positive rates of VEGF, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in the benign meningiomas were 40%, 36% and 32% respectively, and in the malignant meningiomas were 70%, 75% and 55% respectively. The expressions of VEGF and MMP-9, in the benign meningiomas were significantly different from those in malignant meningiomas (P〈0.01). The expression of VEGF was positively related to that of MMP-9 in the meningiomas. Conclusions VEGF and MMP-9 are relative to the biological specificity of meningiomas and cooperativly accelerate the invasion of the meningiomas. The imbalance of MMP-9/TIMP-1 is relative to the degree of malignancy and invasveness of meningiomas.
