摘　　要：从跨文化的角度分析赛珍珠的短篇小说《结发妻》可见,中西两种迥然不同的文化碰撞后产生的巨大的冲击力以及西方文化压倒性的胜利,是该小说悲剧发生的根本原因。Approaching The First Wife by Pearl S. Buck from the the great impact caused by the clash between two different cultures cross-cultural perspective, we can feel the Oriental and the Western and witness the overwhelming victory.of the Western culture over the Oriental culture, which is the real cause of the tragedy in the short story.
