摘　　要：随着城市建设的发展和交通流量的大幅提高,迫切要求对交通控制和监督实现自动化,因此,近年来视频技术在公路车辆安全监测系统中的应用迅猛发展。本文从道路交通安全现状出发,介绍了机动车辆视频监测系统的工作原理,在高速公路监控系统中的实际应用,以及其优缺点和应用前景。With the development of city constructing and in,eased traffic flowing.It＇s urgent to realize automatization in traffic controlling and monitoring.So many applications of video technology in safety monitoring system of vehides on highways are developed rapidly recent years.This paper introduced method of vehicle video monitoring system and application of it in highway monitoring system.The merits, shortages and application prospect of video technology in vehicle monitoring system were also introduced.
