摘　　要：针对当前远程监控和企业产品“全生命周期管理”的需要,在传统组态软件功能的基础上,重点讨论了如何扩展其视频监控功能,并在实际开发中成功应用。在该系统中,视频压缩采用适应能力强的H.263协议,减少了数据流量,以便在窄带下实现这一功能;数据传输媒介采用PSTN,使系统具有良好的经济性和实用性。In order to meet the demands for remote monitor software and product overall lifecycle management, this paper focuses on discussing how to extend video monitoring function which has been applied in practice, besides the introduction of traditional configuration softwares. With the applying of H.263 protocol, band width needed for video stream is greatly reduced ,which enable this function to perform even in narrow band situation. The choice of PSTN for data transaction media makes the system useful and economical.
