摘　　要：介绍一种基于XML和Agent技术的智能元搜索引擎系统。该系统采用元搜索引擎的结构,以Agent作为架构系统的基本组件,利用Agent的自治性和协作性来完成用户个性化信息的搜索;利用XML和XSL分别在结构化信息表达方面,在信息显示、转换方面的优点,来实现元搜索引擎的扩展性以及搜索结果的个性化输出。最后探讨XML和XSL在查询请求和搜索结果转换上的应用以及基于XML的Agent通信。This paper introduces an intelligent meta - search engine system based on XML and Agent. Regarding Agent as systematicbasic module, the system adopts the structure of meta - search engine, and utilizes autonomy and synergy of Agent to finish the user＇ s personalized information search. Using XML and XSL in the structured informarion expression aspect with in the information display and the conversion aspect merit, respectively, the system implements the meta - search engine＇ s scalability as well as the search result personalizarion output. Finally, discusses the application of XML and XSL in the query request and the transformation of search results as well as the communication among Agent based on XML.
