摘　　要：上海市嘉定区自来水厂取用长江水源,在近长江处设立水源厂。水源厂内建有调蓄水库、提升泵房、水库取水泵房各一座。1995年12月建成通水。因工程规模较大、涉及面广,曾采取了多方案比较,现已达到预期目的。水源厂水库不仅蓄水避咸而且明显改善了原水水质。The Jiading District Waterworks in Shanghai was put into operation in December 1995. The raw water is abstracted from Yangtze River by a water intake plant constituted with equalizing reservoir, a intake pumping station and a pressurized pumping station at the riverside. Considering the higher capacity of this waterworks a lot of plans were compared in the planning-design stage and the desired requirements have been achieved by the selected one. The equalizing reservoir at the water intake plant is useful to prevent the salt water backwash and to improve the quality of raw water.
