摘　　要：《黑暗的心》是约瑟夫.康拉德根据自己的刚果之行创作的一部中篇小说。文中黑与白的象征意义,以及它们之间的相互颠覆和重组,揭示出真正黑暗的不是非洲人的皮肤和非洲腹地的自然景象,而是掩盖在白色皮肤下被利益腐蚀一空的心灵,同时也表现了康拉德对殖民主义的批判。Heart of Darkness is based on Joseph Conrad＇s travel in Congo. By analyzing the deep meaning of black and white and the deconstmction between them, this paper points out that although the complexion of the Africans and the natural scenery are black, the real darkness exists in the heart of white man which is corrupted by financial interest. At the same time, the criticizing towards colonism is obvious.
