摘　　要：为了解近几年来老年疼痛评估方面的进展,为老年人提供一个合适的疼痛评估方法。该文以“疼痛评估”、“疼痛测量”、“老年人”、“住院病人”为关键词,从Medline和CINAHL查阅了大量文献,在参考了一百多篇文章的基础上,从多种角度分析和对比了老年疼痛评估的复杂性。老年疼痛评估是一个复杂的问题,除选择合适的评估工具外,还应考虑评估结果与主观感觉的差异,并注意行为及心理状态的观察等。Objective To find out current development of pain assessment of elderly, for providing appropriate technique of pain assessment. Methods Literature was retrieved by searchers from 1993 to 2005 Medline and CINAHL （nursing database）, using keywords ＂pain assessment＂, ＂elderly＂, ＂inpatient＂, ＂pain measurement＂. Results Overall, identify and compare the complicated pain - specific properties of elderly pain assessment base on over one hundred literatures. Condusion Besides the use of appropriate pain assessment tool, to measure elderly pain clinicians must consider error of results with subjective perceive, and observe actions and mental status. Further study is needed to ensure that elderly pain is accurately and reliably assessed.
