摘　　要：在认识古典园林文化内涵的基础上,提出园林旅游开发中要充分挖掘其历史文化内涵,倡导文化旅游,建立旅游解说系统,营造景观场,并提高导游人员文化素质,以实现我国古典园林旅游的可持续发展。Chinese classic gardens ,one of the world cultural heritages approved by the World Heritage Committee, have been regarded as an important tourism resource because of the long history. Unfortunately, these classic gardens were developed rough and destructively in the process of tourism development. Based on the understanding of their cultural meaning, the author thought that the development of classical gardens should concentrate on the following aspects： digging the historical and cultural meanings, promoting cultural tourism,building tourism explanation system, making scenes and improving the ability of the cicerones.
