摘　　要：西花蓟马(Frankliniella occidentalis)是一种世界著名的危险性害虫,我国大陆于2003年首次报道。西花蓟马的发生给农作物造成严重危害和经济损失。本文就西花蓟马的寄主与危害及其防控等方面进行了概述。Western flower thrips （Frankliniella occidentalis） is a very dangerous pest around the world. This pest was firstly reported in the year 2003 in the mainland of China. The serious losses of crops were engendered by Western flower thrips. This paper outlined the host plants, damage and control of the western flower thrips.
