编目工作目标管理之探讨

摘　　要：编目是图书馆工作中一项重要的基础工作。文章通过对目标管理概念、特征的描述,分析了编目工作要激发编目员的工作自觉性和创造性,指出要提高编目工作的质量和效率,就必须实施目标管理,并对实施目标管理的方法及实施中应注意的问题进行了探讨。Cataloging is one of the fundamental components of the professional library work. This paper introduces the basic concepts and features of MBO, discusses that the cataloging work should stimulate the self-consciousness and creativity of the catalogue staff, and points out that in order to improve the quality and efficiency of cataloguing work, MBO should be implemented. It also discusses the way in implementing the MBO, and the problems that should be paid attention to in the process.
