摘　　要：针对传真技术在In ternet上的应用,在传统的存贮、转发技术的IP传真技术基础上,提出一种新型的基于三层结构的In ternet传真系统(IFS),其逻辑结构包括传真网关、传真服务器、邮件服务器,并讨论了该IFS系统的功能、各个逻辑层次的设计与实现,最后总结了该系统的特点和优点。Based on the traditional store-forward IP Faxing technology , this paper proposed a new three-tier architecture lnternet Faxing System （IFS）. Its logistic structure includes fax gateway, fax server and send post server. And the function, design and implementation of IFS were also discussed. Furthermore, the characteristics and the merits of the system were summarized.
