摘　　要：从作者本人亲历的事例,论述知识产权保护与高校图书馆工作之间的密切关系。介绍了知识产权的概念、范畴以及与图书馆有关的知识产权的种类。指出知识产权保护制度对图书馆的工作造成一定影响,但图书馆也是知识产权保护的直接受益者之一。The paper begins with the description and analysis of a real case of intellectual property （IP） protection which took place in an academic library where the author serves. The definition and types of IP are introduced, also pointed out that library, though has been affected and restricted by copyright, is one of the parties that has benefited directly from the protection of IP.
