28min。The purpose of this paper is to provide the permissible military exercise times for men workingand training in intensive hot environments by studying the relationships between WGT and physiologicalresponses of human body, 68 fit adult males vvere divided into 3 groups. There were 14 subjects in groupⅠ,22 in group Ⅱ,and 32 in group Ⅲ.The experiments were carried out in frontier guards in the tropicsduring summer.During the experiments, physiological parameters such as heart rate(HR),rectal tempera-ture(Tre),sweating rate etc. were measured. The results showed that(1)the physiological responses cameup immediately to maximal stress level in relatively short time during intensive working and training,(2)the physiological responses increased along with the picking up speed of exercise or the increasing exerciseintensity,(3)at the end of experiments, the HR,Tre and sweating rate were 178±14b/min;39.3±0. 6℃,1.321±0.196/h;182±12b/min,40.0±0.4℃,1.639±0.291/hand 163±12b/min,38.3±0.6℃,1.671±0.307/h for groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ respectively,(4)on the basis of the physiological responses of humanbody,it is suggested that the permissible military exercise times be controlled in 88,74 and 28 min forgroups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ respectively.
