摘　　要：2003年5月德国历史博物馆新馆落成,贝聿铭在巴洛克式军械库对面的边角地块上创建了新馆。新馆造型厚重凝炼又富于光影变化,极具雕塑感。贝聿铭再次采用三角造型、米色石灰岩和混凝土、弧形玻璃幕墙、螺旋楼梯以及中庭,建立了与周围历史建筑的联系。With the festive opening of new exhittion hall of the German historical Museum in Berlin in May 2003,1.M.Pei mastered his new building very impressively on a small leftover site beside the armoury.The new building is condensed into a monolith shape that reacts to light and shadow like a monumental stone sculpture,Pei opted for a basic building shoape described as a triangle with beige French limestone and concrte,a curved glass facade,a spiral stairtower and a glass foyer.It is the very spot to establish visual links between present and past.
