摘　　要：该文探讨了光、照明、照明设计三者之间的关系;并简要介绍了BPI照明设计事务所进行专业照明设计的工作过程;从而进一步讨论了在整个项目建设过程(包括设计过程和实施过程)中照明设计所处的地位和起到的作用,以及照明设计师所应具备的专业素质。This paper analyses the relationship of Light, Lighting and Lighting design,and briefly introduces how to develop a lighting project in BPI （Brandston Partnership Inc） Furthermore,the StdtUS and functions of Lighting Design in the whoie process of project （ from the early stages of designing to the final stage of actualizing ） and the professional abilities that the lighting designer should have are discussed.
