摘　　要：本文通过介绍曼城的两个新建筑实例,分析其在概念革新、技术进步和新材料影响下新老建筑的演变关系,探讨新建筑在城市发展中承前启后的作用以及对城市更生的意义。This paper conccntrates on the new bulidings in Manchester,By analyzing the impact of conceptrenewal,technology advancement and new matcrial application,the author wants to demonstrate that the nwe architecture evolves from the old and explain its meanings in urban regeneration.
