摘　　要：本文通过作者对旧金山市的实地调查,介绍了其城市轮廓线的层次与建筑布局特点,同时指出,良好的城市规划与设计是保证城市特色的基础。Base on the investigation about San Francisco on site,the skyline of the city and the layout of the architecture in downtown are introduced in this paper,meantime,one conclusion is pointed out that the best urban planning and the city design are the foundation which can produce the character of the city.
