摘 要:提出了一种基于压缩体素模型的锥形刀空间扫描体构造新方法,将锥形刀分解为球体和圆锥体部分,分别给出球体和圆锥体空间扫描体构造公式并构造其表面模型,利用R ay Casting方法分别将球体和圆锥体空间扫描体表面模型进行离散,将其分别转化为压缩体素模型,通过布尔并操作生成锥形刀空间扫描体压缩体素模型。该模型采用沿X、Y、Z 3个坐标轴方向相互垂直的D exel模型表示,各个D exel模型之间按体素模型大小均匀分布。刀具空间扫描体模型和仿真工件模型之间的布尔运算转化为D exel模型之间的一维布尔运算,简化了布尔操作并提高了操作速度。通过M arch ing Cubes方法提取数控加工仿真工件表面模型并进行图形显示,提高了显示质量和显示速度,编程人员可从空间任意方向观察和验证仿真结果。该方法在《基于压缩体素模型的五坐标数控加工仿真系统》中得到了应用,克服了现有五坐标数控加工仿真方法和商品化软件系统的不足。Aim. The performance and flexibility of current commercial systems in modeling swept volume of taper cutter used in five-axis NC (numerical control) machining simulation can, in our opinion, be improved. We present a new compressed voxel-based method that has, in our opinion, succeeded in implementing such improvement. In the full paper, we explain our new method in detail; in this abstract, we just mention the three topics of our explanation: (1) brief introduction to compressed voxel-based model; (2) construction of swept volume model of taper cutter based on compressed voxel; the subtopics are construction of character curves of surface of moving sphere(subtopic 2.1), construction of character curves of surface of moving cone (subtopic 2.2), and the construction and application of the compressed voxel-based swept volume modeling of taper cutter(subtopic 2.3); under subtopics 2.1 and 2.2, eqs. (1) and (2) are derived; under subtopics 2.1 and 2.2 ray casting method is used to establish and discretize the swept surface models of the sphere and taper respectively; under subtopic 2.3 the Boolean operations are used to model the swept volume of the taper cutter; again, under subtopic 2.3 solid models of the cutter and workpiece are stored in the form of three mutually perpendicular ray arrays along X, Y, Z axis respectively, resulting in a compressed voxel model; under subtopic 2. 3, we explain that Boolean operation of the cutter swept volume model with workpiece is fulfilled among one-dimensional dexel arrays and workpiece at high speed; again, under subtopic 2.3 marching cube algorithm is applied to build the triangular mesh model of machined workpiece which can be observed in real time from any direction. This method has been realized in five-axis NC machining simulation system with higher performance and flexibility in operation than current commercial systems in their 3D modeling. The method is the key technology for the virtual numerical control machining.
