摘　　要：中国的畅销书发展始于20世纪90年代初,目前在生产机制与运作模式上已初具规模,并形成了一套较为完整的规范和体制。本文以目前中国最具权威、最有代表性的畅销书排行榜——开卷畅销书排行榜——1999年至2004年所公布的文学畅销书为对象,考察中国当代文学畅销书发展的现状并分析造成这种状况的原因。The bestseller development of China started at the beginning of 1990s. Now it has acquired a certain scale in production mechanism and operation mode and formed a set of comparatively integrated norms and systems. The paper focuses on the bestsellcrs from 1999 to 2004 that were announced by the KaiJuan bestseller list, one of the most authoritative and representative bestseller lists in China so far, in an effort to explore the present situation and the causes for the development of bestsellers.
