摘　　要：在调阅1915—1948年《清华学报》原始文献的基础上,对其产生的时代背景、文理综合性质、编辑出版特色、经营特色、学术传播内容,以及在中国大学学报发展史上的地位、作用与意义作了系统研究。认为:它为中国历史上最早使用中、英文2种版本出版的高校学报,奠定了中国文理综合性大学学报的基本模式,并将其推至极致;它摒弃清末民初期刊经由日本传入西学的传统渠道,开创了从欧美直接引入西学的新途径,为“五四”前夕科学与民主氛围的酝酿做出了重要贡献。Based on reviewing the literatures published in the Tsinghua Journal from 1915 to 1948, the background, comprehensive features, performances of editing and managing, and academic communication contents of the journal are systematically analyzed. The historical position and significance of the journal are studied as well. The results indicate that the journal was one of the earliest journals in China and it created a new way of directly introducing the western academics from the America and Europe instead of via Japan.
