摘　　要：The Skyrme energy density functional is applied to study the ground state properties of nuclei and the stiffness of the symmetry energy. The binding energies and charge root-mean-square radii for selected nuclei can be described well. This makes us able to study the relation between the neutron skin thicknesses of nuclei and the isospin dependent part of the effective interactions.
