摘  要:DNA is considered to be the most important bio-macromolecule and target molecule responsible for all biological effects. Many kinds of damage can be induced by radiation, such as base damage, single strand break(SSB), double strand break(DSB) and crosslink of DNA and protein. DNA double strand breaks(DSBs) are considered to be the most important initial damage of all biological effects induced by high-LET heavy ions radiation. In particular, unrejoined DSBs are responsible for cell death.
