摘　　要：构建社会主义和谐社会,是一个随着政治、经济、文化的发展而不断推进的漫长历史过程,需要全社会的共同努力。我国民主党派作为参政党,在构建社会主义和谐社会中具有特殊的地位和作用:发挥参政议政功能,促进民主政治建设;发挥民主监督职能,促进社会公平和正义;发挥服务功能,促进社会全面发展;发挥协调关系功能,促进社会安定团结;发挥团结教育功能,促进社会道德建设。Constructing a socialist harmonious society is a long historical process that gradually advances with the development of politics, economy and culture, and it requires the joint efforts from all over the society. As the participating parties, the democratic parties play special roles in the construction of a socialist harmonious society. These include accelerating the construction of democratic politics by participating in the deliberation and administration of state affairs, promoting fairness and justice of the society by democratic supervision; accelerating the overall social development by performing their service functions; promoting social stability and unity with their coordinating functions; and strengthening the construction ethics by performing their educational functions.
