摘　　要：生源质量是人才培养质量的基础,是学校改革和发展的晴雨表。本文认为,新形势下,高校招生工作具有基础性、系统性、全员性、公平性和开放性等特点。高校要紧紧把握新时期招生工作的基本特点,不断加强和改进招生工作,努力提高学校生源质量和人才培养质量,实现规模、结构、质量、效益的协调发展。The quality of the enrolled students will influence the reform and development of the universities and colleges. This article points out that the enrollment of universities and colleges has the following characteristics：fundamental, systematic, comprehensive and open.
