摘　　要：民族象征作为一个民族的标志或者徽号,体现了这个民族的思维模式、审美情趣、价值取向和民族性格,具有广泛认同,深入人心,突显民族精神和独有或特别的特征。中华民族是一个多元一体的复合体。龙虽然是多元文化的复合体,但还不足以成为全中华民族的象征。要增强中华民族的凝聚力和大团结更应该强调认同于中华民族的精神。The symbol of a nation gives expression to the modes of thinking, aesthetic standards, values and characteristics of the nation, and is characterized by common identification, striking root in the hearts of the people and showing the spirit of the nation. Chinese nation is unity of pluralistic society. Although the dragon is the compound of pluralistic cultures, it is not the symbol of the Chinese nation. In order to increse the cohesion of the Chinese nation, it is necessary to put emphasis on the spirit of the Chinese nation.
