摘　　要：进入新世纪以来，中国会展业加速发展，会展集多种功效于一身，尤其对推动经济增长和社会繁荣起着重要的作用。而大型会展超常规的发展，客观上也伴随着各种潜在风险，保险是转嫁、化解这类风险的主要科学手段。重要的是，大型会展保险对创建我国国际会展品牌、保障会展经济快速稳健发展具有重要的现实意义。开发多种会展保险险种，将促使保险成为会展经济发展良好的“助推器”。The conference-exhibition industry in China has been boosted in recent years thanks to the rapid growth of Chinese economy. Exhibitions and fairs have multiple functions,in particular,they play an important role in promoting economic development and social prosperity. However, various kinds of risk may exist in the process of extraordinary business expansion of conferences and exhibitions. Consequently exhibition insurance needs to be introduced in order to transfer and dissolve these risks. In particular, the introduction of the exhibition insurance in China is of great importance since it is essential to promote the brand of the domestic conference-exhibition industry and its fast and steady development in future. The insurance industry should develop different kinds of exhibition insurance and offer itself as an effective propeller of the exhibition economy.
