摘　　要：城市化水平是一个地区综合实力的反映;在理解城市化内涵的基础上,选取评价城市化水平的指标体系,在SPSSll.0软件的支持下,通过聚类分析对湖南省地区城市化水平进行分类,并用主成分分析筛选出影响城市化水平的主要因子,针对这些因子提出调整城市化水平差异的对策和措施。Urbanization level in an area is the reflection on its complex competence. In order to the urbanization level in an area, this paper establishes indicators system, afterwards, under the support of the software SPSSll.O, it appraises regional urbanization level in Hunan province through clustering analysis, and by means of principal component analysis, selects some significant factors influencing on urbanization; some strategies and countermeasures are put forward to adjust urbanization level differences among areas in Hunan province.
