摘　　要：史官是我国特有的文化现象,其产生初期是与“巫”、“祝”等神职人员密不可分,甚至合二为一。作为中国先秦时期的一批贵族知识分子,他们隶属于政府,其职掌事务相当广泛,常常身兼数职,对于中国古代文化的传承与发扬,他们是奠基人和铺路者,功不可没。但其政治地位随王室职能的扩大和事务分工的专业化而逐渐衰落。The historiographers was distinctive a culture phenomenon. In the early period, they were attached with clergy, even combined into one. They had double identity. As a first of Chinese Pre - Qin＇s intellectual, they belonged to government. They had in charge of many general ＂affairs, and often taken part in nation＇s important events. They had dedicated to Chinese culture＇s spreading and development. With expanding of the royal family＇s aft＇aires, their political status was on the decline.
