摘　　要：“新闻线人”是近年来媒体激烈竞争的产物,是指向新闻媒体提供有效新闻线索并获得相应报酬的人,它的出现表明新闻信息有价,并催生了“支票新闻”。“支票新闻”一方面拓宽了信源,增加了信息量,同时,应该正确认识其所带来的一些问题。＂The news informant＂ is the outcome of the fierce medium competition in the latest few years, which means the kind of person who provides medium with valid news clues and then gets guerdon from it. Its emergence shows that news information contains price and urges to born ＂the check news＂. ＂The check news＂ not only broadens the channel of information for interviewing and editing but enriching the source of news. And some problems that it brings in the meantime should be right to know.
