摘　　要：近代中国新式体育的兴起,有多种传入途径,教育考察是其重要途径之一,却往往被忽视。清末教育考察不仅引进了先进的教育思想和教育制度,而且引起了对体育的重视,引进了外国的体育项目,改变了国人对体育的态度,奠定了体育在学校中应有的地位。研究该课题对于从源头上认识现代新式体育的作用有重要意义。The rise of modern P, E. in China was based on many approaches; education investigation was one of the important approaches. However, this approach is often ignored. The education investigation not only introduced the advanced education thoughts and system but also aroused people＇s attention to sports, introduced the foreign sports events, changed people＇s attitudes towards sports, and settled the deserved position of sports, in school education. The study is significant in realizing the modern sports from the origin.
