摘　　要：介绍利用cypress半导体公司的CY7C63723 USB控制器芯片,设计并实现高性能的USB光电轨迹球的方法。由于USB接口具备连接简单、真正的即插即用以及热插拔等特点,使用USB接口的设备越来越普遍。本设计使用的CY7C63723 USB控制器芯片整合了USB SIE、通用I/O口以及USB优化R ISC内核,满足了USB的低价格、高性能两方面的要求,采用它能快速设计出低成本、高性能的光电输入部件,为输入部件的升级换代做出了有益的探索。A method that uses the cypress semiconductor cy7c63723 to design a low - cost and high performance USB Opticaltrack- ball is introduced in this paper. USB has been gaining popularity due to its simple connection, plug and play feature and hot insertion capability. The cy7c63723 is a high performance Reduced Instruction Set Computer （RISC） microcontroller with an integrated USB Serial Interface Engine （SIE） ,general purpose I/O ports and optimized RISC core. It meets both requirements of low - cost and high performance. We can quickly design a cost - effective USB optical input - equipments with it. It is a significative grope for the upgrade of input - equipments.
