摘　　要：提高党员素质,才能保持党的先进性。本文试从发扬勤奋学习的精神,加强道德修养和党性修养,具有高度的事业心和责任感,增强组织纪律观念,树立崇高的理想和信念等五个方面对提高党员素质的重要性和必要性作一定的阐述。The forerunning character of Chinese Communist Party cannot be improved until the qualily of her members has been improved. This article demonstrates the importance and necessity of improving the Party members＇ quality from the following five aspects： exerting hard-working spirit, strengthening cultivation of the morals and the Party character, having strong business heart and sense of responsibility, strengthening ideas of the Party＇s desciplines, setting up lofty ideals and convictions.
