摘　　要：文章依据构建社会主义和谐社会重要理论的框架和要求,分别从构建社会主义和谐社会需要提供学习平台的图书馆、需要传播先进文化的图书馆、需要具有网络导航等职能作用的图书馆、需要作为网络信息枢纽的数字化图书馆四个方面论述了图书馆在构建和谐社会中的地位与作用。文章指出图书馆是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要环节和组成部分,图书馆在构建社会主义和谐社会中的地位与作用是任何机构不可替代的。In the article, according to the frame and requirement of the important theory＇in structuring the harmonious socialism society, describes the library＇s position and role in the following four aspects： offering a platform for study, spreading the advanced culture, guiding in the net and digitalizing. At last, points out the library plays an essential part in building harmonious society, and this can＇t be taken the place of.
